The construction company BSK has started works on the future access to El Santiscal urbanization, works that will modify the existing intersection moving it to the junction between A-372 (the road which joins Arcos to El Bosque) and the CA-6104, where a new roundabout will be built to improve these crossroads.<\/p>\n
This roundabout, eccentric in respect of the axis of the current road and with an inner radius of 15 meters (approximately 16′ 5”), will have two 4 meter (approximately 13′ 1”) lanes, with a 0.5 meter (approximately 1′ 8”) interior hard shoulder and an exterior hard shoulder of 1 meter (approximately 3′ 3”).<\/p>\n
The new access to El Santiscal will be via this roundabout by means of a newly constructed branch of 210 meters (approximately 689′) with two lanes, one for each way, of 3.5 meters (approximately 11′ 6”) each. This road will have sidewalks on either side and a bicycle lane.<\/p>\n
The work is promoted by the Consejeria de Obras Publicas de la Junta de Andalucia [Department of Public Works of the Autonomous Government of Andalusia], with a budget of 973,000 \u20ac (approximately USD 1,046,315) and a completion deadline of 8 months. This improvement, much demanded by the neighbors and local Town Hall, will eliminate an entrance considered an accident black-spot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
